Historic Macon Foundation's predecessor the Middle Georgia Historical Society founded the Middle Georgia Archives.  Today, all of our archival materials are held and curated by the Geneaological and Historical Room at Washington Memorial Library.  The Library's professional staff runs one of the best regional archives in the nation and can help researchers solve most inquiries regrading local history.  You may visit the archives at:
