Jim Barfield will lead the tour and take visitors through the history of the William Wolfe Cemetery, past Oak Ridge, and down to the Bond and Johnston monuments. Oak Ridge is the historically African American cemetery that was officially set aside for black Maconites by City Council in 1851 as a means of segregation.
The tour departs from the Madison Street gate.
