In 1976, League, a native of Macon, Georgia, donated the first collection of her architectural drawings to the Washington Memorial Library. In 1994, Jean League Newton presented the second volume of her collection, which comprised 9200 architectural drawings for over 700 projects. League designed two of the seventy individual structures listed on the National Register of Historic Places in Macon-Bibb County, and was a contributing architect for one historic district and two pending districts. She was awarded the Ivan Allen Sr. Award for Community Service for her efforts to preserve historic structures such as the Macon Grand Opera House.

Webb produced design plans for several mid-20th-century modern homes in several of Macon’s emerging suburban communities. Additionally, Webb was involved in several public and government projects within Macon and the surrounding areas. These projects include numerous pre-integration white and African American schools in Bibb County. Webb also played a great part in the development and renovation of Macon.

Jack Holliday, a Macon, Georgia, native, started his own architectural firm in 1952. He designed many homes Holliday had an expertise and interest not only in architecture but also in electrical engineering, furniture, and landscape design; he personally designed and incorporated all these elements.
