Mark your calendars: Nov. 3-5, 2017
Historic Macon Foundation's Flea Market is the longest-running tradition in the organization's history. For nearly 40 years, Historic Macon volunteers have collected, sorted, and priced donations of household items as a fundraiser for Historic Macon's mission. In 2016, the Flea Market raised almost $40,000 for Historic Macon and 93¢ of every dollar spent at the Flea Market went directly to HMF's coffers to fund rehabilitation projects.
The 2017 Flea Market will take place November 3-5, 2017! The weekend will begin with a Preview Party on Friday, November 3 and a public sale on Saturday, November 4 from 8am to 3pm and Sunday, November 5 from 1pm to 5pm.
The Flea Market is free and open to the public. The Flea Market has an array of merchandise including antiques, collectibles, furniture, housewares, holiday decor, electronics, children's toys, gardening gadgets, linens, draperies, decorative furnishings, artwork, lamps, and an entire section of fine silver and crystal pieces.
The Flea Market is now located at 357 Oglethorpe Street, next to Macon Beer Company. Located in the heart of downtown Macon, the Flea Market is minutes away from shops, restaurants, and numerous attractions.

The Flea Market's success is made possible by a dedicated corps of volunteers. Volunteers price and clean sale items, pick up donations, and serve as cashiers, among many other duties. Collectively, Flea Market volunteers donated over 1,700 hours to the sale each year. If interested in volunteering, please call Historic Macon's offices 478-742-5084.
Donate your unwanted items to Historic Macon's Flea Market! Donations are tax-deductible and help us raise money to support our mission to revitalize our community by preserving architecture and sharing history. Historic Macon accepts all items except mattresses, electronics, and clothing (but we do accept accessories like purses).
Historic Macon also accepts donations of larger items such as cars, boats, motorcycles and other vehicles. All donations are tax deductible.
Donation drop-off options:
- Bring your items to the back porch of the Sidney Lanier Cottage, 935 High St., any time.
- To drop off items directly at the flea market, bring your donations to the Flea Market on Wednesday mornings between 8am and 11am.
We can arrange pick-ups for furniture and heavy pieces as well as large amounts of items. Contact volunteer Susan DiRenzo at (856) 261-5603 to schedule a pick-up. Please call at least three business days in advance to ensure an available time slot.
